Anneliese Schlickum

I remember Anneliese taking our family on a personal tour of the Romantic Road when we traveled through Europe in 1982. My mothers 2nd grade class in America corresponded with her class in Germany for many years. We visited the school in Germany where she taught in 1980 and brought her students gifts from America. In 1988, she traveled with us through England, Scotland, and Ireland for three weeks. My dad traveled to Russelsheim in 2012 and visited Anneliese in the home that she was living in at the time. I am glad to know that she is at peace. She will always have a special place in my heart for good times that we had with our travels.
